This is my 200^th blog posting.

I posted my first post on August 27^th, and 170 days later, we are posting the 200^th post.

I started the blog to hold myself accountable to some changes I wanted to make in my life. I felt if I told the world, then I had to follow through.

At first it was all about weight loss, about learning to eat better, when to eat and what to eat.

But as I changed, the blog changed. I started adding photos in, not just of food, but of things I like, place I’d been, what moved me.

I began to use the blog to frame goals, to put some structure into my life, to hold myself accountable to me, to dream, to realize I had value and was worth spending time on.

There have been some major disappointments, 13 pounds in 5 months is a terrible achievement…if achievement is measured by a scale and a scale alone.

I’m down a size in clothes; I can physically keep up with the demands of being in charge of my house. My house is relatively clean, most of the time, as I have the physical and mental energy to stay on top of it.

I’m about to compete against myself in a biathlon</a>…excuse me what?

I’m a better person, I’m still an imperfect person, and professionally it’s been extremely challenging year. But I’m working on that too.

I have my visual strategic plan vision board, that is visible in my living room, to remind me of the things I want to value and strive for.

I have way more support than I ever dreamed of, and I’ve learned to accept that support and the gift of support when it is offered. That’s been a tough one for me.

So thank you for all your “follows”, the “likes” and the comments, it has really helped!

I’m thrilled to share my love of photographs with you, I’m not expert, but I like my style, and I love to learn.

I love your recipes, your own battles and demons, because then I don’t feel so alone and crazy.
