I have a little cold, not a big cold, just a little cold.
Sore throat, runny nose and that’s about it. Major sneezing fits here and there.
I still did 15 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes in the pool. I didn’t want to skip working out, especially so close to the biathlon. I’d already taken 2 days off working out Friday and Saturday, I just needed to rest.
My appetite is off. I’m making myself eat as I do need fuel to fight the bug, but I just don’t feel like too much.
I did just discovered Greek Yogurt this weekend. Deanna had been bugging me to use it, and I just thought it was a fad. But I gave in this weekend and picked some up and OMG YUM!!!!
For those of you keeping track, I am lactose intolerant, but can digest yogurt without too much trouble, as long as I don’t go overboard.
So I’m going to have to watch how much I enjoy this new extremely healthy treat.
The gym and pool are going well, just working hard. I have had some advice to cycle up and down the intensity to break the hold the fat has on my body. So 2 minutes at medium intensity, 1 minute at high intensity.
I’m adding that in a little, but I’m so worried about hurting myself prior to the biathlon that I’m not ‘pushing’ myself too much on this new effort. There is time.

Greek yoghurt is the bomb! The boys and I have been eating it for quite some time now. It is indeed on the top of my list of healthy treats!
As for your cold – come in for a Raindrop Therapy. That will purge the bug and boost your immune system all in one fantastically relaxing go!
